I’ve been passionate about cigars for nearly 20 years, and building the Cigars Unbanded show and community has been one of the most rewarding parts of the hobby.
Outside of cigars, I enjoy playing soccer and hockey, coaching my kids’ sports teams, collecting whiskey, and searching for the world’s best chocolate croissant.

If I’m not smoking a cigar, I’m spending time with my family, reading, making tobacco pipes, practicing photography, or diving into whatever new hobby I’m currently hyper-fixated on.

I spend most of my time working but when I’m not working I enjoy doing a bit of woodworking, staying in shape and I love spending time with my family… Well, most of the time. It’s just jokes.

Cigars have become a huge passion of mine over the last two years. They were a conduit for me to slow down and enjoy being in the moment. It has become a way for me to connect with an amazing community. It has also opened the door for me to join the industry as a local shop owner.
I enjoy spending time with my wife and two kids who are my life. I am also a concrete contractor by trade. I also enjoy living up to all the stereotypes of a concrete contractor that Carpy believes are true.

I’m a certified Master Mixologist through the United States Bartenders’ Guild with over a decade of experience in hospitality, including roles with The Cosmopolitan, MGM Resorts International, and Caesars Entertainment. For the past ten years, I’ve focused on education and sales management with Southern Glazer’s Beverage Company. I’ve also spent more than six years judging the Global Spirits Competition in Las Vegas and Miami, while consulting for major food and beverage operations throughout the industry.
